Something About Us

My name is Tim Tonyan and I married my wife Susan and her 4 boys in 1994. I am a real estate broker and the owner of PacWest Residential and my wife previously owned Breathe Salon Spa in Fountain Valley, CA. Our boys needed an energy burning hobby so we all started water skiing, wakeboarding and fixing up old cabins. Our goal was to have a lakefront home in Lake Arrowhead that would have everything we needed to retire in. Since we aren’t ready to retire we would like to offer our lakefront dream home for you to enjoy on a weekend to weekly basis.

Our journey started in 1994 when we bought a HUD repo in Running Springs, before repos were popular. It had no fixtures in it but it had an acre of pure mountain fun, for the boys. We figured out that as soon as we got in the car to go to the mountains all of our business and personal pressures were left at home.

We sold the Running Springs cabin for a hefty profit after 1 year and over the next 20 years purchased small cabins in Big Bear, Sugarloaf, Crestline and Lake Arrowhead until we finally were able to afford our lakefront home on West Shore in Lake Arrowhead.

This is our dream cabin. Escrow closed two weeks before my Wife’s 50th birthday and we celebrated with all of our friends for two weeks. Just basking in the sun, water skiing, wakeboarding, dinner cruises and relaxing in beautiful North Bay. It made all of our hard work on each one of the other cabins worth it.

It’s an unbelievable experience to be sitting by the roaring fire in the fireplace while the spot lights on the back deck light up the huge snowflakes falling from the sky. And the next morning seeing the snow covered pine trees and the blue water of the lake. With the level entry and short driveway we have never had to put chains on to reach the cabin in the snow.

The summers are so much fun on the dock. Our quiet little cove never gets any boat traffic so we can relax on the inner-tube for an entire afternoon. And the short walk to the house makes it very convenient to prepare lunch, drinks or just to use the bathroom. The sunsets are gorgeous and the fireworks that reflect off of the lake on Fourth of July are spectacular.
